Police campaign: Modern slavery

posted 10 Oct 2017, 02:55 by lewknorparish@hotmail.co.uk
Thames Valley Police (TVP) have launched a HIDDEN HARM campaign urging everyone to ‘open their eyes to abuse’.

Over the next 18 months TVP will be raising awareness of different types of abuse "hidden in the heart of our communities" in Thames Valley. The first focus of the campaign is modern slavery.

In the past two years, TVP have recorded 120 modern slavery crimes across the Thames Valley, with offences in every county, which police say is a stark reminder that such crimes can happen anywhere. The police say it’s likely that many more go unreported
